Kirsten Lakin
Financial Coordinator
A passion for numbers is embedded in Kirsten’s DNA. At age 15 she embarked on an internship at her aunt’s bookkeeping company and was promoted to account manager while she was still an undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts. There she cultivated her interest in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies. After polishing her skills in the corporate world, when she learned there was an opening at FM&A Events she was first in line. She’s an ace at the numbers but her heart and soul thrive in a setting that feels more like a close-knit family than an office.
When Kirsten’s not crunching numbers, she’s exploring her multiple interests. She manages to turn out original knitted designs, recently including a dress, while her cats Merlot and Chianti tackle her skeins of yarn. At the other end of the spectrum, she’s a talented long-term practitioner of Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. And when she’s commuting on the Red Line, you might spot her in her earbuds catching a podcast. She’s currently hooked on offbeat tales of American History!
