At FM&A Events we are very aware of local rituals and special occasions and love to celebrate them. As Capistrano has its swallows, Cambridge has its crew shells that return to the Charles River every February, signaling that Spring won’t be far behind. The departure of the Red Sox equipment truck for spring training is a ritual that we acknowledge, as is Opening Day, Duckling Day and the return of the Swan Boats to our neighboring Public Garden as the flowering cherries bloom.
Champagne appears in our office to mark anniversaries of our team members’ tenure with the company or the completion of a successful client program or signing of a major client contract. Even the first late-winter evening when we leave the office before sunset inspires a celebration.
And FM&A Events is celebrating a very important anniversary of our own this year– the company’s twenty-first birthday! Whereas in some cultures a 21st birthday ritual includes giving a house key to the young adult so they can now come and go as they please and enjoy new freedoms, in our case we are launching a new website and taking on new responsibilities of staying in touch with the clients, partners and friends who have been so involved in our success! We are so grateful for your friendship and support over the past 21 years and look forward to sharing stories and useful information on our new blog.
Planning events in collaboration with our partners continues to be a fascinating and ever-evolving adventure and we look forward to many more years of working together. Stay tuned for regular updates from us at FM&A Events, as “Just-Spring” approaches!
